Cerro de Punta reaches 1,338 meters above sea level along the Jayuya-Ponce boundary. The summit area provides expansive views when clouds lift, but the access road is extremely steep, narrow, and unsuitable for many vehicles. Weather changes rapidly. Most visitors should arrange knowledgeable local transportation rather than attempt the final approach themselves.
