Mar Chiquita's half-moon shape and bright water make it one of Manatí's most recognizable landscapes. The limestone arms offer dramatic views but are sharp and exposed. Incoming surf can create forceful currents inside the pool, and there is little shade. Stay off dangerous edges and never equate the enclosed shape with guaranteed safety.
