Angelito Trail is one of El Yunque's approachable lower-elevation walks. The path descends through dense tabonuco forest to Las Damas Pool on the federally designated Wild and Scenic Rio Mameyes. Rocks become slippery, river levels can rise rapidly, and parking is limited. Avoid entering the water during or after heavy rain and follow all current Forest Service notices.
